Assessing performance

All employees in Experian (both International and Americas) receive an annual appraisal, which links rewards to performance. The annual performance management process is critical to ensure work is aligned and focused on department goals and overall Experian goals and objectives, as employees are appraised on their performance against individual objectives, which are derived from departmental objectives and ultimately the company objectives. The performance appraisal is the principal forum for discussing and setting out an employee’s development plan as explained below.
