Working with the GUS Charitable Trust
During 2006 many of Experian’s community projects were supported financially through the GUS Charitable Trust with the activities planned and delivered through Experian’s operations. Many of the Group’s most successful projects have seen the cash contribution from the Trust being amplified by the in-kind support from the business, resulting in a gearing effect that doubles or triples the impact of the project.
In the year ending March 2006, the total income of the GUS Charitable Trust was £1,056,000. Experian’s share of this donation, calculated pro-rata with profits was £560,000.
